Why my Espresso pump machine does not prime?

In the case that the pump espresso maker is either new or has been inactive for an extended period, air may have entered the system. To resolve this issue, please follow these straightforward steps:

  • Position a cup beneath the traditional frother.

  • Turn on the machine and fully open the steam valve, allowing it to remain open for at least thirty seconds. Do not be concerned if the machine exhibits vibrations or noise initially.

  • After 30 seconds, once the water begins to flow from the traditional frother, promptly close the steam valve.

Now, your coffee delivery system is prepared for use. If the machine is older than a few months and encounters difficulty delivering coffee, it may require descaling.

Refer to your manual for instructions on descaling, and cleaning the coffee delivery area and filters as directed. Ensure that the frother nozzles are devoid of any milk residue.
