Validating the POP
To validate the proof of purchase we need to request a picture/scan of the receipt where we can clearly see the following information:
Name of Retail Store.
Date of purchase.
Description of the item purchased.
Amount paid.
To validate if the Retail Store is authorized, check the following documents:
USA Authorized Retailer List
USA Prohibited retailers list
CA Authorized Retailer List
CA Prohibited retailers list
Validating the Warranty
We will use Salsify to validate the unit's standard warranty period based on the purchase date shown on the POP.
To validate the extended warranty we will need to look for this information in the Customer’s profile in C4C.
If a customer calls us for assistance to register the unit online, we can provide the steps only.
