How to read serial numbers
WE ARE NO LONGER PERMITTED TO USE THE 5-DIGIT CODE ON LA SPECIALISTA LINE AND FULLY AUTOMATIC UNITS- ENSURE TO UPDATE YOUR EMAIL TEMPLATES
When asking for a serial number on a fully automatic or Truebrew, please remember to use the long serial number that is positioned behind the water tank on fully automatic and inside on the left side of Truebrew; instead, use the 5-digit code that is on the bottom of the unit.
It is important for several reasons:
1) The 5-digit number just tells you the production week, while the long number tells you the exact date.
2) the long serial number helps the agent identify the unit (SAP code)
For Specialista, the long serial number is on a sticker at the bottom of the unit.
