Fully Auto Not Frothing

The picture on the side is one of the main reasons why the customer’s milk is not frothing or being detected for the Magnifica Evo or any milk carafe that can be disassembled for cleaning. First, walk the customer through removing the carafe coupling AS00006262 to clean it thoroughly. Check to determine if any of the O rings are damaged or missing. If necessary, order a new coupling, AS00006262. The part is on backorder until 2/2/2024. We have sent multiple units for this issue. Ensure that you are following basic troubleshooting steps for cleaning and maintenance.

Repaired Units from BATES

When BATES returns the units to the customers, all water circuits are emptied to prevent line freezing, resulting in damaged internal parts. The unit must be primed for first-time use. DO NOT send these units in for repair without first priming the unit. Refer to the manual on how to prime the unit you are working on.
